What We Do

Counselling and Psychological Services in Edmonton and Calgary

Four ways we help people help themselves. Our work is organized around four main activities, each one rooted in evidence, delivered with warmth, and tailored to the people in front of us.

Counselling Services

A closer look at how we counsel.

Our most-requested work, organized by who it's for.

A collaborative, one-on-one process tailored to your unique needs. We help you navigate anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, and self-esteem challenges in a confidential, non-judgemental space. Our clinicians draw from cognitive-behavioural (CBT), psychodynamic, and acceptance-commitment (ACT) modalities.

For Organizations and Professionals

Psychological Consultation

Our psychologists partner with schools, workplaces, healthcare teams, and community organizations to bring psychological insight into programs, policies, and people decisions.

Who We Work With

  • School boards and administrators
  • Employers and human resources teams
  • Healthcare and social service organizations
  • Community programs and non-profit agencies
  • Individual practitioners seeking clinical guidance

How We Work

Engagements begin with a discovery conversation to understand the presenting challenge, followed by a tailored scope of work. We can deliver a single consultation, an ongoing advisory relationship, written reports, or facilitated team sessions, depending on what your organization needs.

Evidence in Action

Applied Psychological Research

Our team conducts and supports applied psychological research that informs our clinical work, contributes to the broader field, and helps the communities we serve make evidence-based decisions.

Who We Partner With

  • Academic institutions and graduate programs
  • Government bodies and health authorities
  • Community organizations evaluating programs
  • Practitioners interested in knowledge translation

Our Approach

We focus on applied research that bridges academic knowledge and real-world practice. Engagements may include literature reviews, program evaluations, data analysis, knowledge-translation workshops, or collaborative research partnerships with practicum students and supervisors.
